Student Ministry Need: The Student Ministry is looking for volunteers to provide meals on Tuesday evenings. If you would like to contribute in this way, contact Nicole Hall at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up.
Sing-a-long Outreach – If you would like to help Pastor Dick & Laurie Kulhawik with either singing or assisting the seniors with finding songs in their song books, please call the church office. The next Sing-a-long date IS Tuesday, October 17th, at 1:30 p.m. If you would like to join them and help the residents during the singing, please let Pastor Dick know.
Fall Small Groups - Our fall programs have begun and there will be Sunday school for the children beginning at 9:00 a.m. Adult Bible study classes are: “Back to Basics” offered for the adults. Facilitated by Lowell Paul, it will be a 12-week study, answering questions from who is God? Jesus? The Holy Spirit? to Is the Bible trustworthy? Is there a heaven and hell? and many other questions you may have. Please join them on Sunday mornings as God’s Word is always new and fresh, and we can always learn new and exciting things. This adult class will be meeting in the Foster Room at 9:00 am. In addition, there will be a Women's Study led by Loriann Gemmen. This study will also be held on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. in the Davis room.
Awana is fun and exciting for kids age 2 through the 6th grade. It began on Wednesday, September 13, 6:30 – 8:00 pm. But there's always room for more. If you have any questions, contact Kinsey Parm (616) 323-6918 or Katie Holtz (616) 550-8283.
Upcoming Men's activities:On October 13-14 there will be a men's retreat at the Hastings camp, or there will also be Barakel Men's retreats on October 13-15 and October 20-22. If you are interested in any of these activities, please mark your calendars. More details to come.
J. O. Y. (50 plus group) - Join this wonderful group of folks for a 10 a. m. brunch at the Rainbow Grill in Hudsonville on October 12th.
Visionary Family Ministries - November 4-5 - Bauer Christian Reformed Church and Bauer Community Fellowship are combining to bring you a Visionary Family Conference. On Saturday evening, Dr. Rob Rienow will be speaking about having a God-sized vision for families. During these sessions, he will be teaching on how to impress the hearts of our children and grandchildren with a love for God. Rob will speak on adult children and on marriage on Sunday morning.
